VeChain Welcomes EasyAs Plumb Incentivizing EcoFriendly Shopping Endeavors

Plumb, a platform developed by EasyA on the VeChain blockchain, is rewarding users with B3TR tokens for making sustainable shopping choices. The project emerged fourth in the VeChain and BCG’s hackathon in San Francisco and was created by Clive Tsungu and Tom Rowbotham, well-known blockchain entrepreneurs. Users can earn B3TR tokens instantly by scanning the payment QR code with the Plumb app after shopping and paying at a merchant store. Plumb also offers a point-of-sale (POS) app for users to make and accept payments, including fiat payments. The accumulated B3TR tokens can be exchanged for VOT3 tokens to participate in decision-making within the VeBetterDAO ecosystem. However, with Plumb, users have the option to redeem their tokens for gift cards and other rewards instead. Plumb aims to tap into the massive online shopping market, which currently includes over 2.64 billion people worldwide. VeChain has been actively promoting sustainability through various platforms like Cleanify and MugShot, which also reward users with B3TR tokens.
