IOTA is set to be one of the key partners of the AIM Congress, the largest investment conference in the Middle East, taking place in Abu Dhabi next week. Dominik Schiener, the co-founder of IOTA Foundation, will present the organization’s Tokenization Framework as a leading industry solution for the tokenization of real-world assets.
The Middle East has emerged as a prominent investment destination, with the region diversifying its economy beyond traditional oil businesses into areas such as venture capital, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology. The AIM Congress, scheduled for May 7th, will bring together global decision-makers in Abu Dhabi, attracting over 10,000 attendees and featuring more than 650 speakers from 175 countries. IOTA is proud to be among the strategic partners of this prestigious event.
The AIM Congress will commence at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and will span three days. Keynote speakers will address various topics including the latest technology trends, investment strategies, the digital economy, regulations, and foreign direct investment. As an official strategic partner, IOTA Foundation will have a dedicated booth at the event where visitors can learn about the latest innovations in the IOTA ecosystem. These include the partnership with Trademark Africa, supply chain solutions utilizing the Virtual Watch Tower, digital identity solutions, and more.
In addition to the congress, IOTA founder Dominik Schiener will conduct a pre-conference workshop on May 6th, focusing on tokenization and Web3.
The IOTA Foundation expressed its pride in being associated with the AIM Congress, highlighting the ten different tracks of the event, covering topics such as investment destinations, innovation, international partnerships, and small and medium-sized enterprises. IOTA will be participating in the Future of Finance track, presenting itself as a leading ecosystem for tokenizing real-world assets. The Tokenization Framework developed by IOTA enables the tokenization of any asset, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and providing secure and seamless transferability.
During the congress, Dominik Schiener will participate in a panel discussion on the new era of trust in the financial services industry. Sharing the stage with Raja Al Mazrouei, the head of Etihad Credit Insurance, and Renat Bekturov, the governor of the Astana International Financial Centre in Kazakhstan, Schiener will contribute to the discourse on trust in the digital age.
At the IOTA Booth, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about TLIP, a technology based on IOTA that digitizes and tokenizes trade documents. The booth will also showcase Tokeny, a compliance infrastructure for digital asset stakeholders, highlighting IOTA’s commitment to compliance. Additionally, Nakama Labs, a local Abu Dhabi startup, will present Realise, its new tokenization platform built on IOTA.
In terms of market performance, IOTA is currently trading at $0.2267, experiencing sideways movement in the past day, with a 30% decrease in trading volume to $10.5 million.
