SBI Holdings has launched an exciting venture at the World Expo 2025, unveiling NFTs on the XRP Ledger to drive digital innovation.
In collaboration with Ripple, SBI Holdings introduces a groundbreaking NFT service named “Myaku-N!” as part of their sponsorship of the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet project. Commencing July 1, this initiative allows users to acquire exclusive NFTs via a digital wallet accessible on iOS and Google platforms.
The introduction of World Expo 2025 NFTs on the XRP Ledger marks a significant move by Japan’s SBI Holdings, emphasizing their commitment to integrating blockchain technology into mainstream events. The NFTs are part of a limited collection, exclusively available to 500 users, underscoring their rarity and exclusivity. While users can acquire and design these digital assets, they are non-transferable.
Designed to enhance the experience of the anticipated 28.2 million visitors to the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, the project is a collaboration involving SBI VC Trade and SBINFT, SBI’s NFT subsidiary. The digital wallet service will cease after the Expo, making the NFTs viewable until October 13, 2025, accessible via the XRPL Explorer Bithomp.
Moreover, users participating in the “Myaku Reward Program” can earn NFTs and rewards based on their engagement, including activities such as topping up electronic money with “Myakupe!” Additional incentives like the “Myakumyakupon!” gift campaign further encourage user participation, featuring giveaways and lotteries.
This initiative not only highlights SBI Holdings’ partnership with Ripple but also aims to foster broader acceptance of blockchain technologies and XRP. Collin Brown, a blockchain researcher, views this development positively, noting its potential to showcase blockchain innovation and increase adoption of cryptocurrencies.
SBI Holdings is poised to showcase its #XRP Ledger NFT initiative, EXPO2025 Digital Wallet, at the 2025 World Expo, promising a blend of digital collectibles and technological innovation.
