Dev Null Productions has announced its departure from the XRP Ledger, following in the footsteps of Alloy Network. The firm cited Ripple leadership’s prioritization of personal gains over the interests of retail investors as the reason for its decision. Dev Null Productions expressed a lack of trust in the digital asset, pointing to Ripple’s recent decision to sell XRP at the expense of retail investors. The firm also accused the XRPL Foundation of focusing on their own objectives instead of supporting the community. Additionally, Dev Null Productions criticized Ripple for taking credit for the innovations of others. The firm ultimately decided to leave the XRPL ecosystem due to its lack of progress and underperformance over the years. In response, Ripple CTO David Schwartz explained the challenges of holding onto the asset and selling it. XRP’s price has declined by 4% in the last 24 hours, trading at $0.62.
