BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) absorbed another 120 437 ether on Friday, lifting its reserve to 2 924 663 ETH and drawing $1.8 billion of fresh capital this week.

The Friday allocation pushed ETHA’s July haul to roughly 1.2 million ETH, worth more than $4 billion at current prices. Assets under management crossed the $10 billion threshold earlier in the week, making ETHA the third‑fastest United States exchange‑traded product to reach that landmark.
Ether ETFs Draw $453 M in a Day as 16‑Day Inflow Run Continues
Weekly inflows placed the fund second among all US ETFs, trailing only Vanguard’s $2.2 billion-plus S&P 500 vehicle. The gap underscores accelerating institutional demand for ether exposure relative to traditional equity benchmarks.
US-listed spot Ether ETFs booked $452.72 million in net subscriptions on Friday, extending an uninterrupted 16-session streak that has attracted nearly $5 billion since early July. BlackRock’s product captured the lion’s share at $440 million, while combined net assets for the group rose to $20.66 billion.
During the same period, Bitcoin ETFs gathered only $71 million in fresh money, signaling a short-term rotation in digital‑asset allocation. Market strategists link the surge to growing expectations for on‑chain revenue from staking and tokenization as well as relative valuation appeal after ether’s 53 percent rally this month.
